Psychedelic Policy and Strategy

Rethinking drug
policy for the better.

Hey! I'm Luke Strong, a policy researcher and communications strategist focused on helping advocacy organizations and start-ups navigate the cannabis and psychedelic industries. I've spent over two years working within these spaces, and I'm passionately dedicated to ensuring that these substances are integrated into healthcare systems.

Though originally from New Jersey, I completed my undergrad abroad in Belfast and am returning to the UK in Autumn 2026 for a one-year MSc in Public Policy and Management at King's College London.

I'm currently working on a range of projects for the Center for Psychedelic Policy, the Intercollegiate Psychedelics Network, and Psilonautica. Feel free to reach out if you're interested in any of my work — always happy to connect or collaborate!

Values

  • Research shouldn't live on a shelf. Research of any form should create a path towards action.

  • Think philosophically. The hardest questions in any field are often philosophy problems in disguise.

  • Crave discomfort. Non-linear paths may carry uncertainty, but they also bring about substantial growth.
